I teach guitar lessons in Eugene, Oregon and online. Working between the two mediums on a daily basis has given me a unique perspective on instructing others.

I am often asked 'what styles do you teach?'. The answer is most of the ones you know. The reason for this is due to my experience playing in the army bands. During my time as an army musician it is expected to be versatile in jazz, rock, pop, blues, country, and even classical. It all translates. It's all music.

Here's an example: Let's say you are about to buy a guitar. Do you go for a country guitar, a rock guitar? No! You go for a guitar that you enjoy and one that sounds amazing to you.

Music is music. That's it.
